Just Great HR Privacy Notice

Introduction
Just Great HR ("We") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. The special categories specifically include genetic data, and biometric data where processed to uniquely identify an individual. Other examples include racial and ethnic origin, sexual orientation, health data, trade union membership, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs.
Processing - Means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Third party - Means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.Just Great HR is the data controller and processor for the purposes of this privacy notice. The purpose(s) of processing your personal dataWe use your personal data for the following purposes:● Due to the nature of the service we offer being related to the provision of HR and Employment law consultancy services to businesses within the UK we use your data in the provision of our contracted services● We collect data when you contact us via on our website, make an enquiry by phone or email or place an order for products or services● We also collect information when you complete customer surveys, comment on social media or blog posts or provide feedback● Google Analytics website usage information is automatically collected using cookies● We also process data to maintain our own accounts and records● We take our responsibilities regarding data protection very seriously and are bound by all applicable data protection laws in respect of the handling, processing and collection of data● When we supply services or information you’ve requested, our lawful basis for processing your personal information is as a contract with your business● We may also process your information on the basis of legitimate interests (improving and developing our services). 4. What is our legal basis for processing your personal data? a) Personal data (article 6 of UK GDPR)
Our lawful basis for processing your general personal data:

Processing necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract. - We process information in order to support and maintain our existing or potential contractual relationships under the lawful basis ‘performance of a contract’. We may process personal data in order to provide various supporting services. The lawful basis which we often rely on to process data for the duration of servicing on your account and for the decision to enter an initial or any subsequent contract is under our ‘legitimate interests’. Ensuring our administrative and IT systems are secure and robust against unauthorised access also falls under this basis.
Processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.

6. How long do we keep your personal data? We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary unless there is an overriding legal ground. We will not retain data if it is deemed unlawful to do so. Data may be held for purposes relating to the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims which our clients may face. We will also typically keep data concerning your account for at least six years from the date you end your contract with us. Some data may be deleted before this time period depending on the category of that data, for example, data provided to us in the course of an unsuccessful job application will be retained no longer than 6 months after the recruitment exercise.
7. Providing us with your personal dataYou are under no statutory or contractual requirement or obligation to provide us with your personal data. But failure to do so may result in our being unable to fulfil our contract for services.
8. Your rights and your personal dataUnless subject to an exemption under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

9. Transfer of Data AbroadWe do not transfer personal data outside the UK.
10. Automated Decision MakingWe do not use any form of automated decision making in our business.
11. Further processingIf we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Privacy Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions.
